Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek

Originally a historic estate built more than a hundred years ago, Rosewood Mansion is now an elegant residence unmatched in the Dallas area, possibly even the whole state. Conversion to a hotel has lost none of the building’s turn-of-the-century charm, and its marble flooring, stained-glass windows and hand-carved fireplaces remain stunning. Special mention must be made of the on-site restaurant, which for decades has used the best of Texan produce in sophisticated, French-leaning dishes.
