La Grenouille
Restaurant, Midtown East, New York
La Grenouille is one of the last remaining old-school French restaurants in Midtown Manhattan. Before following in the footsteps of Messrs Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix and Paul Newman and dining on classic dishes such as foie gras and poulard au champagne, sip an aperitif in the Aviator bar, dedicated to Mr Antoine De Saint-Exupéry, the pioneering airman who wrote some of The Little Prince here.

The sole is divine and it’s the only place where you can order Grand Marnier soufflé.
