Paris’ celebrated café culture gets a cold-pressed jolt thanks to this new juice bar. Having already caused a stir by handing out healthy treats at successive Fashion Weeks and introducing the city to food delivery, this new light, airy and refreshingly minty green brick-and-mortar premises already has a head start. But as Ms Isabella Capece Galeota, one half of the gluten-free power couple behind Maisie points out: “this is the capital of gourmet food, so you have to make gourmet juices”. And not just juices but also agua frescas, dairy-free avocado, banana and nut shakes and home-made chocolate and fruit granolas. Not just injecting some much-needed Californian sunshine into the city’s sometimes stuffy scene, this place raises the game for wellness food and drinks.
