We want everyone to feel welcome at MR PORTER. We aim to inclusively represent the diversity of the world and be a positive influence in everything we do. This informs how we work with our teams and partner brands, the curation of the products we sell and the stories we tell, celebrating the work of a diverse range of designers, brand founders, photographers, artists, talent and activists.

The Vanguard is MR PORTER’s incubator and accelerator programme for the next generation of menswear talent. Each year, MR PORTER champions a selection of brands scouted and empowered through our programme, which provides bespoke mentorship, connections to industry specialists, and access to our platforms seen by millions. Since launching on Net-a-Porter in 2018, The Vanguard has supported 22 businesses, 60% of which are BIPOC-owned.

As an extension of the mentorship program, The Vanguard Education Fund launched in 2021 in partnership with the British Fashion Council, and sees MR PORTER engage with a network of universities to encourage more diverse talent and to help students as they embark on their professional journeys in the industry.
