Oris first released its Cotton Candy collection – a sub-set of Diver’s Sixty-Five watches with pastel blue, green and pink dials – in 2021, with bronze cases. Now it has returned to the theme with stainless steel, giving the 38mm watch a cool, almost clinical feel.

Using the shape of the Roman numerals as a structure in place of an actual dial is a powerful move to begin with; filling them with vivid emerald lacquer is next level. This is the Santos as statement watch, and even the traditional blue sapphire cabochon has been switched to green.

The rich green of the Iced Sea’s textured dial might, at first, make one think of pine forests but its inspiration comes from above the treeline: the ancient, dark green of the ice deep within an alpine glacier. With a ceramic bezel and 41mm steel case, it’s Montblanc’s hardiest watch to date.

The “electric green” of this NOMOS Glashütte Club Campus is tempered by the soft, supple grey suede strap, but there is no question it remains an eye-catching choice. It’s all the more distinctive for its orange seconds hand and unusual California dial with a mix of Roman and Arabic numerals.
