Via Carota - Men's Style Council Place

Inspired by a 17th-century villa in the hills of Florence where resident chef Ms Rita Sodi lived, Via Carota’s wooden floors (reclaimed from an old gym), vintage chapel chairs and rustic wooden cabinets make this one of New York’s most authentic Italian restaurants. Take a seat on one of its eight outdoor tables on the tree-lined sidewalk and try the wild-boar ragù over pappardelle.

Amazing Italian food in New York. If you are lucky, you might run into Obama, De Niro or some other famous person having dinner.
